Seven Treasure Town locates at the suburb of Shanghai, being a typical Chinese Jiangnan ancient town. Built in Ming and Qing dynasties, this old town had been a local famous market place for trade of some daily goods like cloth, yarn, food material and vegetables……the town actually was full of commercial history but also cultural atmosphere in old times as there were many famous scholars in that time. Today you come here will find the original taste of the old town of that time.
Zhu Jia Jiao is a highlight attraction in Shanghai, a water town with more than 400 years’ history. It is honored as the “Pearl Stream” and shines among those Shanghai sightseeing with its bridges, old streets and gardens built in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Fangsheng Bridge, Baoguo Temple, Town God’s Temple and Zhuxi Garden and things will offer you different kinds of photo opportunities. You are going to take a boat ride in the river to have a special view to this old water town which will impress you a lot.
After the time in Zhu Jia Jiao, you will pay a short visit to the Silk Factory where you will learn knowledge about silk and how to bargain for clothes, quilts and some handmade things like that.
