Taste the old and modern Shanghai in 2 days
Day 1: Shanghai Arrival
Our guide and will meet at the airport/train station/port upon your arrival and transfer you to your hotel.
After a short rest, start a fully the tour to experience a bit of old Shanghai. First you’ll be driven to the over 400-year-old Yuyuan Garden, the representative ancient garden in Shanghai boasting with elegant pavilions, villa, lotus pond and bridges. The neighboring Yuyuan Market is a bustling marketplace set in an old Chinese neighborhood with traditional architecture and shops selling everything from local snacks to various souvenirs.
Next, walk through the Nanjing Road. The road stretches from The Bund east towards Hongqiao, with Shanghai’s center point People’s Square in the middle. Now Nanjing Road has turned into the number one site for shopping in the city.
At last, move to the Bund, a 1.5 kilometer long walkway along the western bank of the Huangpu River. Home to 2 buildings of different architectural styles such as Gothic, Baroque Romanesque, Renaissance, and Chinese, it is regarded as “The Museum of International Architecture.”

Day 2: Shanghai Departure
Hotel pick up by your tour guide and head to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in the Pudong District which is the tallest TV tower in Asia and a symbol of modern Shanghai due to its unique style and the height.
Go down from the top to the ground floor, you’ll arrive at Shanghai History Museum. Established in 1952, the Shanghai Museum has a collection of more than 120,00 rare cultural pieces from the Old Stone Age to modern times.
Then move to the Pudong New Area and pay a visit to the skyscrapers by car ride. Afterwards our tour guide and driver will see you off to the Pudong airport.
