Picked up by our tour guide from your hotel at 09:00am. Today we will cover only 2 places but they are both quite worthwhile to visit. First we will go to visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. Hailed as “the eighth major miracle of the world”, it shows a surprisingly high level in crasftmanship and sculpture are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It should never be missed on your China trip.
Then move on to Hanyangling Mausoleum which is a joint tomb of Liu Qi, a notable emperor of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-24AD), and his empress, Empress Wang. This an amazing site houses an incredible display of smaller figures than the Terra Cotta warriors.
After the one day tour, drive back to your hotel .
